George successfully defended his Ph. D. thesis surviving demands of his two advisors. He is heading for a postdoc position with Professor Pat Loria at Yale.

Jason Toffey was awarded the Chandler T. White prize "... in recognition of outstanding performance in an independent research project." for his study of the kinetics of iso-1-cytochrome c.
Researchers Present at ACS National Meeting

Yuning Hong, Thomas Freeman, Jie Gu, Erik Snider, and AJ Vincelli all presented posters on their research projects. Kate also gave a talk on the work conducted on heme proteins in the lab.
